QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy Village Council approved the village’s 2018-2019 Fiscal Year Budget Tuesday night, as well as a Capital Improvement Plan that will cover proposed projects through 2024.
The $926,000 General Fund budget is about $1,800 in the black.
The Capital Improvement Program establishes a guide for future capital expenditures with the provision that such a program in no way obligates the Village to undertake any specific program, include any item in future budgets, or to appropriate funds for any project or item.
In other business, the Council passed a resolution which allows the village to apply for a $300,000 Michigan Department of Naturdal Resources grant for the linear trail project.
They also passed an Asset Management Plan resolution which governs investment in the Quincy street system over the next three years and allows money to be transferred between Street funds as necessary.
