COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Bronson man was sentenced on Monday in Branch County Circuit Court after entering guilty pleas to a pair of drug charges.
37-year-old Anthony Haviland was given a six month jail sentence and placed on probation for 18 months on charges of Maintaining a Drug House and Being in Possession of Marijuana. Prosecutors dismissed charges of felony firearm and delivering and manufacturing marijuana in exchange for the guilty pleas.
Haviland was given credit for 55 days already served and the jail time was suspended over his probation.
He also had to forfeit his gun and pay over $1,100 in fines and costs. The charges were filed after a Bronson Police Department investigation.
