JACKSON, MI (WTVB) – The Quincy varsity bowling teams split their matches with Michigan Center on Friday at Suburban Lanes in Jackson.
For the second straight day, the Quincy Girls had to go to an extra baker game after regulation ended in a 15-15 tie. The baker roll off came to the 10th frame. After Quincy missed a spare attempt, Michigan Center picked up their mark for a 129-119 win.
Daylin Fuller had games of 189 and 221 for Quincy while Alyssa Milliman had a 141, Madison Wineland had a 138 and Carlie McKinley rolled a 133.
The Quincy boys defeated Michigan Center 25 1/2 to 4 1/2. Quincy cruised to 10 points in baker play. Dylan Bean [179], Tyler Short [157], and Brodie Mainstone [161] all took game one points while Mainstone [187] took a half point with a tie in game 2. Cody Neusbaum [157] tallied a point and Tyler Short came back in to finish out a 226 game for the final Quincy point. The Orioles went on to score 1664-1627 for the victory.
In JV Boys action it was once again all Quincy. The boys took a commanding 10 point lead in baker play scoring 332-267. Brady Harper [185,189] Dave Milliman [158,140] Cameron Barry [149,148] all took 2 points in singles while Nathan Richer [97] and Max Stetler [116] both added a point for Quincy. The boys went on to win 28-2.
