MARSHALL, Mi (WTVB) – The Coldwater bowling squads were both winners on Thursday afternoon as they swept Marshall by scores of 23-7 in the boys match and 22-8 in the girls match.
The boys won both regular games 907-856 and 894-852, taking totals 1801-1708. Coldwater split the baker games, dropping the first game 140-138, winning game two 226-153, taking totals 364-293 Coldwater was led by Dayten Yearling with games of 232 and 190 for a series total of 422. Kai Kinsey rolled a 201 and Chance Cook a 195.
Meanwhile, the Coldwater girls bounced back from their first loss of the season. The girls lost the first regular game 871-792, winning game two 843-744, taking totals 1635-1615. They took both baker games, 164-120 and 158-145, taking totals 322-265. The girls were led by Dezirae Kling with a 215 game.
