COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The owners of the new Coldwater Dairy Queen Store at 559 East Chicago have announced on their Facebook page they will be open for business on Monday.
Todd Haidous owns the property. He has been the owner of the Angola Dairy Queen since 2015.
Interviews for future employees have been conducted in recent weeks as workers have put the finishing touches on the store.
The new Dairy Queen will be over 2,600 square feet in size with a drive-through window and 42 parking spaces.
It has been built at the site of the former Coldwater Recreation Lanes.
The bowling alley closed last spring and was in the process of being torn down when a fire destroyed the building in the early morning hours of July 10, 2019.
