DETROIT, MI (WTVB) – Some Branch County football players have gotten post season recognition from the Detroit Free Press as selected by long time high school sports reporter Mick McCabe.
Coldwater’s Matt Gipple was named to the Division Three All-State team at running back.
Quincy’s Evan Coon earned a spot on the Division Six All-State team at linebacker.
Division Eight State Champion Reading had three players make Free Press All-State. Nick Affholter was named to the offensive line while Ben Affholter earned his all state spot at linebacker and Hunter Midtgard was named an all state defensive back.
