Highs thoughout the week are expected to be almost 20 degrees above normal.
The normal high for Christmas Day in Coldwater is 31 degrees.
The Christmas Day forecast in Coldwater is calling for cloudy skies and highs near 50.
While that will be warm for this time of the year, it won’t be anywhere near the record high of 61 degrees set in 1982. Record highs in the 60s were set that day throughout Michigan.
If you were around in the early 80s, you’ll remember the weather the following Christmas was quite different.
Coldwater’s record low for Christmas Day of 12 degrees below zero took place in 1983.
