COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The latest Coldwater Early Bird Exchange Club Youth Citizenship Award was presented this week to a Legg Middle School 8th grader who has plans to become an elementary school teacher.
Emalyn Shidler is the LMS November Student of the Month with her teachers saying she is always prepared for class and eager to learn, exhibiting all the traits that make her a standout student and a great person.
Ema enjoys reading, doing homework and bowling, being in the Midway Youth League for ten years while also for 2 years playing middle school tennis and being a student council member.
She plans after high school to attend Kellogg Community College and then continue her pursuit of an elementary education degree.
Emalyn is the daughter of Nicole and Brian Shidler.
