BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – In high school basketball Thursday, Bronson’s boys dropped their Big 8 Conference opener and fell to 1-2 overall as they were beaten by Reading 57-38. Reading only led 22-21 at the half but broke the game open with a 35-17 second half.
The Bronson girls jumped out to a 13-2 lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat Reading 46-31 as they improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in the Big 8. Alanna Mayer scored a game-high 19 points for the Vikings
In action Friday night, Coldwater and Marshall will have a girls/boys varsity doubleheader on the Red Hawks home court starting at 6:00 p.m..
