COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater City Council approved a recommendation from Mayor Tom Kramer Monday night to increase City Manager Keith Baker’s salary by three percent for the fiscal year which started July 1, 2019.
The salary increase follows an evaluation of Baker’s performance over the past 12 months.
A list of goals for Baker to pursue over the next year was also approved by the Council.
Baker has been Coldwater’s City Manager since April 2017. Before that, he served as the Assistant City Manager under Jeff Budd.
In other business on Monday, it was decided to table the introduction of a proposed noise ordinance until the next meeting since a pair of Council members were absent.
