COLDWATER TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The rash of thefts around Branch County in recent weeks continued over the weekend. Michigan State Police troopers are investigating the theft of a 16 foot utility trailer in Coldwater Township.
The trailer is black in color with a grate style ramp on the rear. Additionally, the trailer has side railings and fenders on all wheels.
The trailer was left in a lot near the intersection of US 12 and M 86. The theft is believed to have occurred after 8:30 p.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. Sunday.
The trailer had a Michigan license plate and was holding a load of scrap wood/piping.
