HILLSDALE, MI (WTVB) – In order to get a Reading Township man back to Ohio to face a criminal charge in connection with a fatal stabbing, the Hillsdale County Prosecutor’s office has dropped local charges against 38-year-old Ryan Dangerfield.
Dangerfield was facing unrelated Michigan charges of resisting and obstructing, assault and battery and having no insurance.
There was a fugitive warrant out of Williams County, Ohio when he was arrested one day after the June 23, 2019 stabbing at a hotel in Bryan, Ohio.
The Hillsdale Daily News reports with the Michigan charges dropped, Dangerfield can now be extradited back to Ohio where authorities have charged him with voluntary manslaughter in the death of 23-year-old Dylan Bible.
Bible was stabbed during an assault at the Colonial Manor Motel and later pronounced dead at the Community Hospitals of Williams County in Bryan.
