BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council approved a quote of nearly $2,700 from ASI Security Monday night for the installation two cameras to Greenwald Park which will cover the Bronson Backyard play area.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says the play area has been the source of constant vandalism throughout the years.
The cameras will be mounted on 20 foot poles that the city will provide.
Mersman also proposed that a high speed internet connection also be added to the camera DVR system so that staff has web access to view live video.
This would also allow the police department to monitor the site remotely.
