COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Coldwater man entered guilty pleas to three counts of motor vehicle theft/unlawful driving away Monday in Branch County Circuit Court.
38-year-old Andrew Hamlin is scheduled to sentenced September 9, 2019.
A fourth charge will be dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for the guilty pleas.
Court records indicate the alleged crimes happened between December 10, 2018 and February 13, 2019.
Hamlin had been sought by Coldwater Police after they got numerous stolen vehicle complaints.
Coldwater Police said at the time Hamlin was captured that they had received an overwhelming response from citizens after the department issued a wanted poster of the suspect on social media and in local media outlets.
