COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – It may be summer vacation time, but that doesn’t mean Coldwater High School is quiet.
The school hosted its first Summer Soccer Camp event. Youngsters were provided with a competitive and fun training environment that emphasized developing a passion for the game, developing skill and confidence with the ball at their feet and improving decision-making through the game of soccer.
Players received individual instruction from the Coldwater High School/Middle School Soccer coaching staff Sarah Langer and Mo Nagi as well as many CHS athletes.
Each day was filled with a variety of activities to promote correct soccer technique. All campers received a new soccer ball, water bottle and photo.
Meanwhile, 2018 CHS graduate Abby Licht spent an afternoon painting a cardinal on the concession stand at the school. She was a former member of the CHS Interact Club. It took Licht six hours to paint the cardinal.
