COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – An animal is being blamed by the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities for a power outage that affected part of Coldwater late Monday night.
The outage was reported at about 9:45 p.m. and lasted for about 75 minutes as CBPU crews made repairs.
According to social media postings, the lights went out in the area near the Branch Area Career Center and the Fairfield Plaza. The outage also apparently affected residents along North Hudson, West Clarke, East Montgomery, Marshall and West Alden.
There were reports of lights flickering in other parts of the city as well.
