STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – The Michigan Department of Transportation has announced that crews will start reconstructing U.S. 12 and the Michigan Southern Railroad crossing in Sturgis next Monday, April 22.
The $587,000 project is expected to take two months to finish.
During the construction, U.S.12 will be closed with traffic detoured on M-66, East Fawn River Road and South Franks Avenue.
In addition, M-66 traffic will be detoured on Memorial Drive, North Clay Street, West Lafayette Street, and North Centerville Road.
