MARSHALL, MI (WTVB) – In high school track and field, Coldwater and Marshall split their Interstate 8 Conference meets at Marshall Wednesday. Marshall won the boys meet 112-48 while the Coldwater girls swept all of the field events as they defeated Marshall 97-65.
Coldwater winners in the boys meet were Kyle Foulk (1600 and 3200), Dylan Targgart (shot put, discus) and Jayvis Clayton (200).
Coldwater winners in the girls meet were Jayda Kelly(400 and discus), Kathy Potter (800 and 1,600), Elka Machan (3,200), Madison Klotz (300 hurdles), Anna DeMeester (shot put), Claire Sheppard (high jump and long jump) and Avery Boyce (pole vault). Coldwater won the 1,600 and 3,200 relays.

Vicksburg 12, Coldwater 3
Coldwater dropped to 0-3 with a 12-3 loss at Vicksburg in the opening game of a scheduled doubleheader. Mia Rzepka had a two run triple during a three run first inning but Vicksburg then scored 12 unanswered runs.
