COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Roland Stoy, a long time reporter for the Coldwater Daily Reporter, has passed away.
The newspaper reported in its Thursday edition that Stoy passed away in his sleep early Wednesday at the age of 69.
He worked for the paper for 16 years. Stoy retired from the Daily Reporter in 2013 although he continued to write articles for the paper until last year.
He was very involved in several local charities and organizations including the Branch District Library, the Branch Area Food Pantry and Family Promise of Branch County.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Dutcher Funeral Home.
