BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Sheriff John Pollack told the Bronson City Council Monday night that soil borings at the site of the new Branch County Jail are scheduled to be conducted on Wednesday.
A conceptual design for the new jail was presented to the Branch County Board of Commissioners last month.
Pollock said they are still working with the architect. They met with them last week and reviewed the original renderings. Changes were recommended and Pollack said they will meet with them again on Wednesday.
He added interviews of three potential construction managers have also been completed and a selection should be made by the county sometime this month.
