BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson City Council has approved a bid of just over $10,000 from Beerman Construction for sidewalk ramp improvements around the city.
City Manager Brandon Mersman says the improvements will take place at nine different locations where there are currently no ramps or ADA ramps.
The sidewalk ramp improvements will take place at the following locations:
Ruggles and Union Street
Walker and Union Street
Washington and Fillmore
Douglas and Compton
Ruggles and Compton
Mowry and Rudd
South and Shaffmaster
Fillmore and Buchanan
Walker and Grant
The Council Monday also formally approved a request from the city to buy the empty and blighted home at 7 Foy Street, which is up for a tax sale. The city plans to buy the house, tear it down, and then convert the space into the future site of the Bronson Farmer’s Market.
