COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) -The Coldwater City Council approved a license agreement with the Broadway Grille Monday night as the restaurant moves its outdoor patio from the Chandler Parking Lot to the bump out that the city built in front of the restaurant on South Monroe.
City Attorney Megan Angell said the agreement was based on a previous agreement between the city and restaurant that was put together three years ago when the Broadway Grille started to use of the Chandler Parking Lot.
It calls for the Broadway Grille to maintain $1 million in liability insurance with the city being listed as an additional insured party.
Broadway Grille owner Scott Ladd said they are waiting to get the liquor licensing finalized and hoping for good weather.
Plans call for the seating area to be open between May first and the end of September.
