BUTLER, TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – A Union City man was injured Saturday afternoon when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Squires and Bidwell Roads in Butler Township.
The Branch County Sheriff’s Department says according to their investigation, a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Bruce Speith of Litchfield failed to yield at the intersection just after 1:00 p.m. and collided with another vehicle driven by 58-year-old David Bloom of Bronson.
70-year-old Edward Fillmore, who was a passenger in the Bloom vehicle, was taken to ProMedica Coldwater Regional Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
The Sheriff’s Department cited Speith for failure to yield the right of way.
