THREE RIVERS, MI (WTVB) – Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is scheduled to make a couple of stops in St. Joseph County Monday afternoon as part of her “Road to Opportunity Tour.”
She will read to students at Park Elementary School in Three Rivers starting at 2:00 p.m. and encourage them to continue reading during March is Reading Month.
Whitmer will then talk about her recent budget recommendation at a stakeholder roundtable with Sturgis community representatives starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Sturgis District Library
The Governor is using the stops around the state to discuss her Fiscal Year 2020 budget proposals.
