KALAMAZOO, MI (WTVB) – Four Branch County boys high school boys basketball teams will be trying to win district titles Friday night.
Division One at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix
Coldwater will be trying to win a second straight Division One district title in the finals at Kalamazoo Loy Norrix against Richland Gull Lake. After edging Battle Creek Central 49-48 on Wednesday, the Cardinals will bring a 16-5 record into the 7:00 p.m. game while the Blue Devils are 10-12.

Division Three at Bronson
It’s an all Branch County Division Three district title game in Bronson as the 3-18 Vikings take on the 15-7 Union City Chargers. Both advanced to the title game with one point victories on Wednesday. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
Division Three at Reading
The 18-3 Quincy Orioles take on the 20-1 Hanover-Horton Comets for the Division Three title at Reading in a match up of conference champions. Game time is 7:00 p.m.. The Comets won the Cascades Conference while the Orioles captured the Big 8 titles.
Hanover-Horton’s only loss this season was to Toledo St. Francis De Salles. Free Press sportswriter Mick McCabe is picking Hanover-Horton to reach the final four.
