COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater Community Schools Board of Education approved the bids for the new Fourth and Fifth Grade Elementary School Project Monday night.
Tower Pinkster is serving as the architect for the project, while Owen-Ames-Kimball Company is serving as the construction manager.
Board member Nick Krzeminski, who serves on the Buildings and Grounds Committee, pointed out the project is almost $50,000 under budget.
The new fourth and fifth grade building will replace Lakeland Elementary and it’s being built following the approval of a millage and bonding issue in November 2017 by district voters.
The district will also use the funds from the millage for infrastructure needs in the district and for the purchase of new buses.
