QUINCY, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Vikings raced out to a 19-4 lead after the first quarter and went on to defeat the Quincy Orioles 59-26 in a Big 8 Conference girls basketball game Monday night.
Keona Salesman scored a game-high 17 points for the Vikings. Kiera Lasky added 13 points while Meagan Lasky added 11 points. Madison Hinds led the Orioles with eight points and six rebounds.
Quincy plays at Constantine this evening.

In Boys Basketball on Monday night, Union City improved to 9-6 with a 51-41 victory over Climax-Scotts at McNett Fieldhouse.
In giirls middle school basketball, the Coldwater Legg Middle School 8th grade squad lost to Marshall 38-23. Brooklyn Kerry led Legg with 15 points.
The Legg 7th grade girls A team suffered a tough loss Monday to Marshall 43-37. MacKenzie Scheid led Legg with 20 points, nine rebounds, four steals and four blocks. Jaelah Sloan chipped in with 12 points and four steals.
The seventh grade B team also lost to Marshall.
