SPRINGFIELD, MI (WTVB/WNWN) – The Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department took a 26-year-old Battle Creek man into custody on Tuesday night after he allegedly sexually assaulted, beat and held his 23-year-old girl friend against her will for months.
Deputies went to the 4200 block of West Dickman Road on Tuesday night after getting a tip about a woman was in possible distress.
The suspect was arrested and lodged in the Calhoun County Jail on charges of first degree criminal sexual conduct and domestic violence.
The Sheriff’s Department adds a 40-year-old man who had been living with the suspect was also assaulted.
