ANGOLA, IN (WTVB) – A man who was being sought by local and federal authorities has been apprehended.
The Steuben County Sheriff’s Office says 29-year-old Kenneth Christopher Campbell was taken into custody late Thursday night in DeKalb County, Indiana.
No information about the apprehension was available.
Campbell was subsequently booked into the Steuben County Jail on two outstanding felony arrest warrants as well as a misdemeanor arrest warrant.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisting the Fremont Police Department and the U.S. Marshal’s Service with the search for Campbell.
When it was announced last week that police were looking for Campbell, the Sheriff’s Office said he may have been traveling back and forth between Michigan and Indiana and that he could be armed.
Among the charges he was wanted on in Steuben County were Domestic Battery, Auto Theft, Theft of a Firearm and Invasion of Privacy.
