KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) — As investigations into several cases accusing a bar in Kalamazoo of serving drinks spiked with various drugs continues, two women have now come forward saying they were sexually assaulted in 2020 after drinking there.
WWMT uncovered police reports in Kalamazoo which showed that the women claimed they became disoriented shortly after leaving the Y Bar and Bistro last year. One case was from January and the other from November. In both cases, the women claim they were raped after leaving the bar and woke up later not remembering how they ended up where they were.
Meanwhile, investigators in Kalamazoo continue to look into allegations that at least 14 people consumed drugged drinks at the Y Bar and Bistro on April 12, which led several other people to come forward with similar claims.
The owner of the bar has remained quiet all along, other than denying the allegations when they first came to light earlier this month.
