CONCORD TOWNSHIP, MI (WTVB) – The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department says a Jonesville resident was one of two fatal victims in a two vehicle crash last Friday night at the intersection of North Concord and King Roads.
57-year-old Lavern Bell was killed in the crash along with 57-year-old Kellie Baker of Jackson.
The Sheriff’s Department says Bell and Baker were in a vehicle that was struck by a Ford Explorer which was driven by a 22-year-old man who according to deputies failed to stop.
The crash remains under investigation.
