COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A third place in Coldwater where food is served has been closed temporiraly due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19.
The Lamplighter Bar and Grill announced on their Facebook page Friday afternoon they will be closed until further notice.
According to a Facebook post, they had an employee last Thursday that worked and was temperature checked. She answered no to all of the questions on her questionnaire and has not worked since that date.
Then on Tuesday she started to not feel well. She went to her physician and was tested and on Friday her test came back positive for COVID-19.
At this time, it was felt that it’s best for the employees and the community to close for everyone’s safety.
All employees will be notified and self-quarantining those that worked with her the last shift she worked will be self-quarantining.
Short’s Root Beer Stand closed on Wednesday but will re-open on for limited call in orders. Full service is scheduled to resume on August 24.
The Willows was forced to shut down for 11 days in July.
