UNION CITY, MI (WTVB) – A suspect arrested Sunday for allegedly trying to steal quarters from a quarter machine at a Union City laundromat was arraigned on two counts Monday in Branch County District Court.
41-year-old Jerry Emerson Beer Junior of Union City is so far facing chargers of possession of methamphetamine and felony firearm.
His bond was set at $5,000. A probable cause was set for July 2 with a preliminary exam on July 8.
Beer was booked on five other counts but as of Monday, formal charges had not been filed.
