COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The annual Independence Day Fireworks Show at Heritage Park in Coldwater will proceed as originally scheduled.
The show will take place at its normal location in Heritage Park and will start at dark on July 4 which is about 10:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m..
The City of Coldwater is asking those who will attend the show to practice social distancing, stay within their immediate groups and wear masks.
Coldwater City Manager Keith Baker says Heritage Park provides a large open space to watch the fireworks from as well as plentiful parking.
Baker said they decided that the event would be safe enough to proceed with and they hope this will help the community feel a sense of normalcy again.
The Coldwater Noon Rotary Club, the Coldwater Township Sunrise Rotary Club and the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities are sponsoring this year’s show.
