STURGIS, MI (WTVB) – Sturgis Bancorp announced this week the appointment of John T. Wiedlea as Chairman.
He is the founder of Automation Plus, Incorporated and retired this year as Co-Director of the Sturgis Area Community Foundation.
The 68 year old Wiedlea has been a Director of the Company and the Bank since 2006, serving as Audit Chairman.
He has been Chairman of the Sturgis Economic Development Corporation, the Sturgis Improvement Association, and Brownfield Development of Sturgis.
He served as a member of the St. Joseph County EDGE Board.
Sturgis Bancorp is the holding company for Sturgis Bank and Trust Company. The bank has offices in Bronson and at eight other southwest Michigan locations.
