BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – The COVID-19 death rate in Calhoun County went up by two on Friday as it entered double digits.
The Calhoun County Public Health Department reports ten persons in their jurisdiction have died from the virus.
Five deaths have been reported in the last three days.
The number of confirmed cases during the outbreak has reached 190 as 12 new cases were reported on Friday.
The Public Health Department says 48 of the cases have required hospitalization.
There have been 60 new cases reported during the last week.
