BRONSON, MI. – (WTVB) – The Bronson Police Department has closed its lobby to non-emergency inquiries in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the Coronavirus.
As always, Bronson Police will handle all emergencies as they come in 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Police Chief Stephen Johnson is asking residents that non-emergency inquires be restricted to telephone calls, emails or the U.S. mail.
If you need to file a police report, Bronson Police ask you to call 911. A Bronson Police officer will call you back to gather necessary information.
Depending on incident details they may respond to the scene to gather evidence.
Johnson says they don’t take closing the lobby lightly but strict precautions must be taken so his department can continue to serve the public.

In addition, salvage inspections and VIN inspections are not being processed at this time as a precautionary measure.
