COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – The City of Coldwater has announced that pending further developments, they plan to reopen the Public Safety Building, the Browne Recreation Center and City Hall to the public Friday, May 1.
The Monday announcements on the city’s web site came after President Trump extended the White House’s social distancing guidelines until April 30.
The Coldwater Police and Fire Departments continue to operate 24/7 during the COVID-19 event but the lobby of the Public Safety Building has been closed to the public since last Monday after Governor Whitmer issued her Stay Home, Stay Safe Executive Order.
The City of Coldwater and Board of Public Utilities offices in the Henry L. Browne Municipal Building have been closed to the public since March 17 but the offices remain fully operational.
The Robert W. Browne Recreation Center has been closed since March 13.
