BRONSON, MI. – (WTVB) – The City of Bronson is reminding their sewer customers as well as those on septic systems to only flush toilet paper down their toilets.
Such items as baby wipes, facial tissue, floss, feminine hygiene products, rags, grease, disposable diapers of any kind or any solid waste should not be flushed.
They remind residents that Items labeled “flushable wipes” or “flushable rags” are not flushable. They do not dissolve in water the way toilet paper is designed to.
Following this advice will prevent sewer backups and damage to the sewer system. Use your due diligence and only flush toilet paper and human waste down the toilet.
