BRANCH COUNTY, MI (WTVB) – A school year that will probably not be forgotten comes to end for students in the Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy Community School Districts on Tuesday.
Summer vacation begins in those districts on Tuesday following the end of a half day of classes.
The 2020-2021 school year will be remembered for how students, staff and administrators had to handle the COVID-19 pandemic. There was a mixture of in person and virtual instruction along with all of the COVID-19 protocols that had to be followed.
It’s hoped with the scheduled lifting of all COVID-19 restrictions in the State of Michigan on July first that the next school year can be conducted in a more normal setting.
Classes for the 2021-2022 school year will start on August 23 in Coldwater, Bronson and Quincy while Union City students are tentatively scheduled to go back on August 25.
