LANSING, MI (WTVB) – A 30-year-old Branch County man has won a nearly $404,000 progressive jackpot playing the Michigan Lottery’s Doubler Wild Time game.
According to a Michigan Lottery press release, the man chose to remain anonymous.
He bought his winning ticket at the Shell gas station at 128 Jonesville Street in Litchfield.
“I recently started playing this specific Fast Cash game and have been pretty lucky on it,” said the lucky player. “I bought a ticket while I was at the gas station and started looking it over. I saw the ‘2’ and the jackpot symbol and just stared at it. I knew what I was seeing, but I couldn’t comprehend it. When it finally sunk in, I was brought to tears.”
The lucky player visited Lottery headquarters to claim his prize. With his winnings, he plans to pay bills and invest.
Fast Cash games are a series of instant-win games that print from terminals at Lottery retailers. A progressive jackpot can be won instantly. The tickets can be bought for between $2 and $20.
