BRONSON, MI (WTVB) – The Bronson Community Foundation has sent a letter to supporters that seeks donations which will be used to give the front of the Bronson Theater a face lift.
The Foundation is hoping to raise $8,600. The money will be used to put siding on the front and repaint the marquee.
It’s hoped the work will improve the appearance of the building and make it more energy efficient.
While there have been donations for the work, Karen Smith from the Foundation said in the letter that like other organizations, they have suffered from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Donations in the past has allowed the Foundation to keep the theater running year-round.
There have been many updates to the building. It also houses the Bronson Food Pantry and the Bronson Historical Society.
The building is also used for the Bronson Community Schools fine arts program, special events and is the headquarters of the Bronson Polish Festival Council.
