COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater Board of Public Utilities Director Jeff Budd informed the B.P.U. Board of Directors on Wednesday night he plans to stay on with the city for between 60 to 90 days as he transitions to his new job.
Budd’s resignation as B.P.U. Director was announced near the end of the August 23 Coldwater City Council meeting.
Budd ran down what he intends to do over the next couple of months as far as resigning from the various boards he serves on and the projects the B.P.U. are involved in.
Budd suggested the board conduct a workshop over the next two weeks to determine which direction they want to pursue in searching for the next director.
Budd’s exact final day with the city has not been set. His next professional destination has also not been disclosed.
Budd said in his resignation letter he plans to work with the B.P.U. Board over the next few months “to insure a smooth transition” as they search for the next director.
