COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Branch County Administrator Bud Norman told the County 911 Communications Board on Wednesday that it’s anticipated an offer will be made to the candidate chosen for the 911 Directors job sometime in the next few days.
The chosen candidate was among five finalists who were interviewed by the Branch County Board of Commissioners on August 27.
Norman was not ready yet to reveal who has been selected.
The five finalists included Branch County I.T. Director Matt Fosdick and Ryan Fillmore who spent 14 years with Branch County 911 before working for six years as a supervisor with St. Joseph County 911.
The other finalists were St. Louis area native John Sherman, Robert Swick from Hillsdale County and Debbie Spencer who spent 28 years as a 911 dispatcher.
