EAST LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The Coldwater boys cross country team finished ninth out of 29 teams in the Bronze Division on Friday in the prestigious Michigan State University Spartan Invitational.
Both John Aerts and Myron Lafty from Coldwater earned medals.
Aerts took 19th place with time of 17:21.5 while Lafty claimed 24th place with a time of 17:29.1.
According to the meet results that were posted on www.athletic.net, Lainey Yearling was the top finisher for Coldwater in the Bronze Division girls race as she was 50th with a time of 22:18.5. Coldwater finished 26th in the team standings.
