BATTLE CREEK, MI (WTVB) – Coldwater finished third at Monday’s Interstate – 8 Conference Championship meet and in the final conference standings.
Lumen Christi won Monday’s event shooting a team score of 351 followed by Parma Western’s 365 and then Coldwater at 381.
Coldwater’s Taylor Musselman was the meet medalist as she was the only golfer to break 80. Musselman carded a 78 which put her on the All Tournament Team as well as earning All Conference accolades for the second year in a row.
Coldwater’s Anissa Stevens shot a round of 92, Ezma Machan had a 103, Katie Kimble and Hailey Price each had rounds of 108 and Ashley Drzewicki rounded out Coldwater’s scoring with a 109.
Stevens, Machan, Price and Drzewicki each were named Honorable Mention All Conference for the season.
Coldwater will now be prepping for Regionals hosted by Sturgis at the Island Hills Golf Course by playing in events in both Jackson as well as at Island Hills.
