LANSING, MI (WTVB) – The motorist charged with striking and killing Lansing Firefighter Dennis Rodeman reportedly because their Fill-the-boot fundraiser was tying up traffic and made him angry, will undergo a psychiatric exam before his criminal prosecution proceeds. 22-year-old suspect Grant Taylor reportedly has a history of psychosis and bipolar episodes.
Firefighter Rodeman was an ex-marine who survived a tour of duty in Iraq. He had a young wife and a baby on the way when police say Taylor intentionally ran him down.
