COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – Jeff Budd has entered his final days as the Director of the Coldwater Board of Public Utilities.
Budd told the Michigan South Central Power Agency Board of Directors on Thursday he is spending most of his time at his new job.
Budd’s resignation as B.P.U. Director was announced near the end of the August 23 Coldwater City Council meeting.
Budd’s resignation puts a cap on a 23-year career with the city and utility. Before being named CBPU Director in October of 2017, he served as City Manager for seven years and as the City Finance Manager.
A special meeting of the B.P.U. Board has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 8 at 5:30 p.m. in order to interview at least two candidates for the Directors position.
Each candidate has been allotted 45 minutes to be interviewed by board members.
