COLDWATER, MI (WTVB) – A Three Rivers man entered guilty pleas to two charges on Wednesday in Branch County Circuit Court in a pair of cases.
30-year-old Alexander Zuchnik entered guilty pleas to charges of receiving and concealing a firearm and larceny from a motor vehicle.
He was one of three persons charged in connection with the theft of catalytic converters in Matteson Township between November 1 and December 23 of 2020.
Zuchnik was also one of two suspects in the theft of four rifles from a home on Shaffmaster Road in Bronson Township in June of 2020.
All other charges will be dismissed by prosecutors in exchange for his guilty pleas which were entered during a Zoom call on Wednesday.
A tentative sentencing date of January 13 has been scheduled.
Zuchnik is serving a 10 to 30 year sentence in the Michigan Department of Corrections on a first degree home invasion conviction out of St. Joseph County.
