Ellen Arlene Leverington, 72, of Girard Township, passed away at home on Monday, May 25, 2020.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ellen was born April 18, 1948 in Petoskey, to Ralph and Barbara (Klock) Dye, Jr. She grew up in Petoskey and graduated in 1966 from high school there. Ellen later became a homecare worker in the healthcare field.
On August 16, 1996, she married Robert D. Leverington, Sr. in Union City. Ellen was a wonderful and loving woman. She was a strong believer in God, took good care of her family and tried to help others whenever possible.
Survivors include Ellen’s devoted husband, Robert; her children, Christopher (Nicole Marie) Dye of Quincy and Joseph Beardslee; her grandchildren, Gabreil Dye and Ashlyn Dye; and her siblings, Barbara Shepard of Lansing and Ralph Dye III of Lansing.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, William Leverington II (1994); a brother, Don Dye; and a sister, Donna Hazelo.
